Quantum computing: new paradigm for Italian companies?
The University of Padua, in collaboration with the Quantum Computing and Simulation Center (QCSC), will host an event on Friday 12 April aimed at revealing the growing opportunities that quantum computing offers to the industrial landscape. Among the participants, Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy.
This event will highlight ongoing initiatives in Padua, Italy, and across Europe led by the QCSC, the National Center for Supercomputing, Big Data and Quantum Computing (ICSC Foundation) and the European Quantum Flagship.
A successful industrial use case, QuEra, a spin-off of Harvard University (currently among the leading manufacturers of quantum computers), will show the potential of this innovative technology.
Furthermore, participants can expect insights from the 2023 research conducted by the Quantum Computing & Communication Observatory of the Polytechnic University of Milan, which shows the evolution of the quantum industry in Italy and Europe.
Participation is free upon registration.
Further information regarding registration, program and location is available on the main event page.
