Today, Simone Montangero chaired the session titled “The technology disrupting race towards the quantum computer: is there a winner looming?“, which took place as part of the workshop “Building a quantum safe financial system: what role for authorities and for the private sector?” at Bank of Italy, in Rome.

During the event the first demonstration of quantum secure communication among three central banks across the ocean, involving the Bank of Italy, the Bank of Canada, and the Bank of France, was showcased.
